Meet

Ruby is an approximately 4 year old husky cross. She is fully gown and, medium size.

What our volunteers have to say:
"Ruby is super funny! When I let her out of her kennel she consistently has a routine (that she started). She jumps gently on my chest - like a high five, then turns a couple of times and heads for the door. So funny. Ruby is food motivated and is still learning to walk properly with a leash. I think she’s just so excited with life that she’s like a kid in a candy store and gets easily distracted. Super sweet girl!"

Ruby is a very friendly people person. She is super smart and learning all her basic commands quickly. She is very food motivated and will never let you forget that it's dinner time by banging her dishes around until they are full.

Ruby's ideal home would be an individual, couple or family that loves the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing would all be right up Ruby's alley.

She would be best as the only pet or in a home with another submissive dog, Ruby is an Alpha female. She has not been tested with cats.
