Collie / Lab mix
Beige & Ivory
Hi, my name is Kit! My foster people named me Kit because I look and act just like a little fox. 🦊
I came from northern Saskatchewan a few weeks ago, and I was surviving outside all by myself, but now I am safe at my foster home, and learning many new things. I can sit and lie down when asked. I am also house trained (with only two accidents since living here but I am only 6 months old!) I go into my crate every night and sleep all night without a peep. If you let me I would spend every minute with you snuggling even at sleeping time because I love being near pack so much.
I love going for walks and smelling everything I can, but I do need some more training on the leash (which is expected as I am still a puppy). When we meet other dogs out on walks I do like to socialize. The one time a dog came to my house it took a little bit until I was sure about him but then we had great fun running like crazy around the backyard. I have not met any of those things they call cats while I have lived here so I don’t know if I like them or not, but I am pretty young so I will probably only want to play with them! Any kids I met on my walks have petted me and said I am very nice.
I do not make any noise usually. One time I barked because I thought someone was beside our house but it was a false alarm.
I am working on my manners like not jumping up on people when I’m excited or trying to look on the counters. I have become so much better about that since living here. My foster people say that I am really smart and learn things quickly.
Some of my favorite things are playing, chasing balls, having things to chew on and snuggling with my people! If you think you might like to be my forever family, please send in an application to adopt so you can come and meet me.
Paws & Kisses, Kit🐾
